Job DescriptionThis position requires specialized skills and knowledge to handle the challenges and complexities of the project quality activities. With authoritative decision-making this role's recommendations have a significant impact on project regional and offices quality policies and programs.

The role provides services to manage the site quality program on projects. This position typically is the Site Quality Manager. This role may supervise the work of assigned quality and NDE personnel.

Implement and supervise technical quality (ie, adherence to client, regulatory agency, and company requirements), perform administrative functions (ie, budgeting, forecasting, staffing, etc.), and help to maintain harmonious client relations Communicate effectively with all labor grades, and contribute ideas that stimulate positive direction of business line personnel Serve as project Quality Manager on medium to large projects, if necessary Serve as the office Quality Manager, if necessary Facilitate the implementation of the Operating System Requirements (OSR) in offices for which responsibility is allocated Maintain relationships with key internal and external Clients and external Quality community Other duties as assignedNotice to Candidates:Background checks are carried out as part of any conditional offer made, including (but not limited to & role dependant) education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications and Global Watchlist screening.To be Considered Candidates:Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Basic Job Requirements Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerOther Job Requirements US Citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications Will need to travel to project with expectation to be assigned at project site until the completion of work. Have a basic understanding of the ASME codes, preferred Section III, NQA-1 and other codes as applicable. Have a basic understanding of NDE techniques and methods, ASME Section V.

Position does not required certification, but does recognize certified candidates. Have a basic understanding of automatic welding operations. Provide construction audit input to the project audit plan and coordinate with the project Quality representative Provide training of the site quality program to site personnel, when applicable Provide input to the site manager regarding Quality organization and staffing Verify that project and construction execution is being monitored by regular surveillance, inspection and/or formal planned audits and ensure that quality reports/audit reports are issued to appropriate parties and that follow up occurs until closureSalary Range118,500 to 213,500 BenefitsFluor is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to promote employee health, wellness, and financial security.
